How to make Wheat Buns
Ingredients
Wheat Flour – 2 cup
Milk (warm) – 1 1/2 cup
Butter (softened) – 3 tbsp
Instant Dried Yeast – 2 tsp
Sugar – 2 tbsp
Salt – 1/4 tsp
Directions
- Add 2 tbsp of sugar and 2 tsp of instant dry yeast to 1 1/2 cup of warm milk. Mix it well and keep it aside in a warm place for 15 mins.
- Add 1/4 tsp of salt to 2 cups of wheat flour and mix.
- Add the yeast&milk mixture to the wheat flour and mix it well. Dough must be sticky like I have shown on the video.
- Add 2 tbsp of softened butter and mix it well.
- Once dough is ready, grease another bowl with butter and transfer the dough into it.
- Level the dough and brush it with butter.
- Cover it with a cling film, and leave it in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.
- After 1 hour mix the risen dough.
- Grease 8 inch baking tin.
- Apply butter on your hands and make small dough balls as shown and place it in the baking tin.
- Cover and keep it in a warm place for another 1 hour for second rise.
- After 1 hour dough balls will be risen, brush them with butter. At this time, preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Bake it in a preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- After 15 mins, wheat buns will be cooked.
- Brush it with butter and cover it with a kitchen towel and keep it aside for 10 minutes to get them soften.
- After 10 minutes wheat buns will be ready to serve.
