Lassi is a traditional yogurt-based drink which is very popular in Indian subcontinent. In this recipe, I am making two different versions of the lassi, one with mango and another one with dry fruit. This takes no time to make and is very tasty and refreshing especially in hot weather.

How to make Mango Lassi
What you’ll need
Mango (peeled & diced) – 1
Sugar – 2 tbsp
Yogurt – 1 cup
Pistachios (for garnish)
How to make it
- Add chopped mangoes into a blender. Add 2 tbsp of sugar. Add 1 cup of yogurt and blend it well.
- Garnish it with finely chopped pistachios and serve.
What you’ll need for Dry Fruit Lassi
Almonds (finely chopped) – 2 tbsp
Cashew Nuts (finely chopped) – 2 tbsp
Pistachios (finely chopped) – 2 tbsp
Dates (chopped) – 2
Saffron strands – 3 (soaked in 2 tbsp of warm milk)
Sugar – 2 tbsp
Yogurt – 1 cup
Pistachios (for garnish)
How to make Dry Fruit Lassi
- Add 2 tbsp of finely chopped almonds into a blender. Add 2 tbsp of finely chopped cashew nuts. Add 2 tbsp of finely chopped pistachios. Add chopped dates. Add soaked saffron along with the milk. Add 2 tbsp of sugar. Add 1 cup of yogurt and blend it well.
- Dry fruit lassi is ready to serve. Garnish it with finely chopped pistachios.
